Charlotte Malther, CharlotteMaltherConsulting, Copenhagen, Denmark

Characteristics Working as a project manager for 25 years I’m always trying the keep the general view, and to find ways around a problem.

As a consultant I meet my customers where they are, in the way they work, in their particular reality and with their chosen goals.

As a collegue – steady, curious, creative and inspiring.

My fields are Software Process Improvement, and all quality aspects. I work as consultant, coach and facilitator in project communities in major, middle, minor and small businesses. The last year has been very much facilitating: facilitating retrospectives (10-12), facilitating requirements workshops, facilitating difficult project meetings turning disagreements into agreements.

As times goes on I spend more and more time making people communicate more and in a better way. We need to bring people and their communication back in the centre of the projects

I wonder … Never to be sure that what one is doing is the right thing … I wonder whether the world has become better with many years of hunting effectiveness and efficiency – goals that I have been – and still am - working with.

Why I’m in Tisvilde For 25 years I have been working as project manager, by turns as a quality worker, trying to make software developers among others aware of the potentials in learning from experience – from other and from oneself. During the last years more systematically in SPI-projects, trying to help organisations improve their effort.

In Tisvilde I want to share experience in retrospectives, learn more, discuss methods and to try new ideas out. I feel that the Retrospectives Facilitators Gathering provides a great framework for this!

Private I live together with my husband near Copenhagen, Denmark. Together we have three grown up children, two sons in law and two granchildren.
